Metal shingle roof in Michigan

Hi,

I live in the metro Detroit area and I’m interested in metal shingle roofs. We have a 2200 sq ft ranch and I would like to know who you would recommend in the area for installation and what brand of shingles you would recommend.

Also, can the metal shingle roof be installed over one layer of ashphalt architectural shingles?
