I have a 16’x50′ porch roof with a 1/8" per foot slope. The 3/4 T&G plywood deck is screwed to hemlock boards that are screwed to oak beams. Two layers of Carlisle liquid urethane were applied and then covered with protection board (thick asphalt paper). The membrane has failed everywhere that it got wet around the edges of the deck and along seams in the protection board. How do I fix this mess? The membrane is not removable where it is still well adhered. Blue max is providing temporary protection to the exposed plywood. Carlisle does not have a repair method that is executable and does not stand behing their product. I understand that EPDM should not be applied over asphalt. The roof deck cannot be raised because of other limitations. The deck was and will be again covered with 20×20 Ipe tiles on pedestals. None of the roofers that I have looked at the deck will return my calls. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
