A-frame / Steel or Rock-coated Steel shingles

We have an A-Frame house and initially wanted to go with standing seam but we think it\’s too much \"roof\" for that product (blah!) We like steel or coated shingles because of the differences in color that it provides and the look of a regular shingle. We looked at Terrabella and were going to order from Menards but all of a sudden they quit selling it. I don\’t know if that means the product is bad and company unreliable or what. What recommendation can you give us for for a steel or rock-coated steel shingle that will do well on an A-frame ? We live in mid-Ohio so weather is all over the place. We really need someone to give us a professional recommendation before we go further.
