we have to provide R49 to a commercial flat roof. the roof structure is 5" thick overall composite concrete slab over steel deck (3") supported by steel beams. Below is sheet rock ceiling. What is your recommendation on the type and thickness of rigid insulation able the slab? What is your recommendation for the type and thickness of insulation below the steel deck?
